GRAND MASTER YANG JUN ARRIVED IN PLOVDIV AND STARA ZAGORA
On 13th of April 2010 Grand Master Yang Jun, heir of the founder of Yang style Tai Chi Chuan (The fist of great limit of Yang family) arrived in Stara Zagora to teach in “Pushing hands” technique. The announcement was made for “National Bissiness post” by Tihomir Todorov, Chief Instructor from “Yang family Tai Chi Chuan in Bulgaria”. Grand Master Yang Jun visit country from East Europe for the first time, moreover he trained practiticioners in the art of Yang family Tai Chi Chuan in two Bulgarian cities. In addition to "The City of Linden", from 9th to 12th of April Grand Master Yang Jun was in Plovdiv.

The two seminars were extraordinary invent for the practiticioners of this art. Tai Chi Chuan is practical system for self – development, which give opportunity for the people to realize completely harmonious evolution of their physical, mental and spiritual body. Though series of ancient Taoist techniques for inner energy, practiticioner learn to increase his physical energy, to release the pressure, to improve his health condition. Systematic pratice of Tai Chi Chuan lead to main strengthening of Immune system, improve of the metabolism and treatment of many diseases. Furthermore, Tai Chi Chuan slows aging. Tai Chi Chuan effectivity as a system of self – defense is extremely high. Accent is on neutralization of the enemy without using rough physical power.


There are two basic theories about the occurrence of Tai Chi Chuan. The first is that during the time of Yuan and Ming dynasties, about 600 – 700 years ago,  Chen Senfen lived in Shaolin monastery (Young forest), from where he moved to the Udan mountain and create Tai Chi Chuan. He was inspired by the fight of snake and cran, he once watched. The crane always attacked hard, while the snake yield and followed his movements and survived. The firmness was controlled by the softness.


According to the second theory, Tai Chi Chuan was created by General Chen Vantin, from Chen family about 300 years ago. Grand Master Yang Lu Chan learned the traditional form from Master from 14th generation of Chen family. The movements in Yang style are harmonious, regular and wide.


About 200 years ago, Grand Master Yang Lu Chan went to Beijing (Peking) to teach Imperial family. But there were a lot of other people who watched him and expressed willingness to learn from him. His movements were slow, smooth and regular. During its evolution, the style has different forms. The original form is called Old form. After that appeared Short, Middle and in the end Long form. The form, which is practice now is Long form and Tai Chi Chuan is the most popular style of Tai Chi Chuan. This mainly is due to the decision of family Yang to break the old restrictions and isolation and to teach to everone, who wishes in the world.
