SEMINAR WITH MASTER CLAUDIO MINGARINI (MASTER MING) IN STARA ZAGORA

Form 12th to 15th of March 2009 Stara Zagora, Bulgaria held the first seminar with Master Claudio Mingarini (Director of the Centre in Rome and in charge of Italy, Greece and Bulgaria) and his assistant, Anna Siniskalko (certified instructor at the International Yang Style Association). Organizator and host of the event was Tihomir Todorov. Besides the host group from Stara Zagora, the seminar was attended by practitioners from the Bulgarian Association of Yang Taiji - Stanislav Bagalev, from Plovdiv and his students. During the first day of the seminar Master Claudio Mingarini held workout with advanced students.

The seminar was opened with a detailed explanation and illustration of the 10th basic principles of Grandmaster Yang Chanfu which are the basis of proper understanding of the form. The 103 positioning long form (first, second and third parts) was worked out, and were shown a large number of martial applies. The participants were extremely satisfied.

The evenings flow in a pleasant atmosphere in the stylish restaurants, specially selected. Master Ming told very interesting stories related to Taijiquan.

Friday night brought together at a table master Claudio Mingarini, Tihomir Todorov, his wife Petya, Stanislav Bagalev and Ivan Kolev, who heard interesting stories for the past of Yang family.

Saturday night was devoted to meeting master Claudio Mingarini with leaders of "centers" in Taijiquan from Stara Zagora, Sofia, Burgas and Plovdiv, as there were laid the foundations for future collaboration for the promotion of Yang Taijiquan in Bulgaria.

On the evening of last Sunday everybody had the opportunity to attend a formal dinner with guests from Italy.

This first seminar of master Claudio Mingarini was a preparation for an upcoming seminar with Grand Master Yang Jun (fifth-generation family of Yang) in Bulgaria in 2010.

SHORTLY FOR MASTER CLAUDIO MINGARINI

Claudio Mingarini began his practice in martial arts with Judo from 1972 to 1981. Over the same period also studied Ju Jitsu and Karate style Vado Roux. In 1982 he met with an incredible world of Kung Fu, which gradually changed his life. He started with traditional Tsyuan Shaolin, Wing Chun and Quenya and in 1984 has the opportunity to start practicing Bagudzhan (Pa Kua Zhang) and Yang style Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan), with which he dealt until 1996. Meanwhile he deepens his fighting skills through classes in kickboxing and Muay Thai (Thai boxing) in Italy and Bangkok, Thailand. Since 1984, entirely devoted his life to Kung Fu, since then every morning he exercises alone or with other teachers and teach each afternoon and evening, six days a week. He taught all of the above styles of Kung Fu from 1984 to 1999 in Rome, Genoa and Milan, where were the three main centers of the old Kung Fu Association in Italy.

 In 1996 in Sweden he participated in a seminar on Yang style Taijiquan and since then he doesn’t stop follow Grand Master Yang Chen Doo and Grand Master Yang Jun all over the world. Invite them in Italy in 1998 for a seminar on Yang style Taijiquan. Since then Grand Master Chen Yang Doo visited Italy 3 times, and Grand Master Yang Jun of each year. As soon as the national technical training director for Italy and Bulgaria of the International Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Association, helps the development of Tai Chi Chuan in Italy, Bulgaria, Greece and Europe through monthly teaching courses at various levels, lectures, seminars conferences, demonstrations and television predavaniya.Osven martial arts since 1978, he studied Oriental philosophy and religion, since 1993.
